Hello, I'm a Music Teacher and Musicologist with experience working in performance on Trumpet and as a countertenor singer. I also have some music technology experience recording and post-production.

As a musicologist, my field is historical performance practice. My masters was focussed on Venetian trumpet aria's and the baroque performance practice of singers, and instrumentalits in obligatto aria's of the 1740's.

I am now writing a PhD which has traced the italian vocal tradition into Australia and I'm looking at how that influenced the development of Australian Music in the late 19th Century, with a biographical component on the life and works of Isaac Nathan.

Today, I am living and working and teaching in Vietnam. A very interesting county with beautiful culture, delicious food, and lovely people.

This website provides you with a few introductory ideas to some of my past achievements and current interests. It is currently in the process of being updated, so please check back in the future.
